CONCEPT - FEATURE WRITING

What is feature writing?
Feature writing is a form of writing that presents information in a creative manner. More particularly, it does not include hard news or firsthand description of news. Feature stories are narrative in nature while written more elaborately and creatively for the purpose of educating, entertaining, and illuminating readers about the story. Feature writing is clearly not the same as news writing. News reports usually highlight the facts of events with accuracy whereas feature stories emphasize on giving the story a narrative approach with true or make-believe details, primarily allowing the readers to see the story through detailed description and creative writing.

TASK - WRITE A FEATURE STORY

All you need to do is pick any ONE of the following videos, watch them carefully, pick up the information relevant for your feature, and write your feature story. And don't worry about word limit. Just make sure it's an interesting as well as informative read. Good luck!
