Concept and Task 3

CONCEPT - CREATIVE WRITING

What do you understand by 'creative writing'?
Any form of writing that is ORIGINAL and SELF-EXPRESSIVE can be termed as creative writing. Instead of using facts, a work of creative writing involves IMAGINATION, EMOTIONS, and HUMAN EXPERIENCE understood and expressed by the writer. It can include both FICTION (short stories, novels, poems) and NONFICTION (biographies, memoirs, personal essays).

Example:
Just think of the soliloquies (monologues or self-speeches of a character in a play) in Shakespeare's Hamlet, or the amazing plots of Harry Potter!
